Walk With Us 2026

Join Tapping House for Walk With Us on Sunday 6th September 2026. Whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one, celebrating someone special, or simply supporting your local Hospice, every step tells a story and helps create more memories that matter.

Walk With Us is a fundraising walk through the Norfolk Coastal Path from Burnham Overy Staithe to Wells-next-the-Sea. This is a scenic and manageable walk that features beautiful views including marshes, moorland, beaches and woodland.

Walk With Us is open to all ages, with a choice of distances to suit different fitness levels and walking abilities. Each walk starts and finishes at Burnham Overy Staithe:

3.5 miles total – turning back at the sand dunes

8 miles total – turning back at The Lookout in Holkham

14 miles total – turning back at Wells-next-the-Sea

Please note: all distances are approximate and the route includes uneven ground which may not be suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters or buggies. If you have any questions about accessibility, please get in touch before registering.

As part of your registration, you’ll receive a ‘Walk With Us’ purple branded T-shirt to wear on the day. Fancy dress is also welcome too!

Adults – £20 registration fee – minimum sponsorship £100

Children (6-17 years) – £15 registration fee – minimum sponsorship £50

Under 5s attend free. 

Your registration fee helps cover the cost of running the event, but it’s your sponsorship that truly makes an impact.

Each year Tapping House raises the vital funds needed to continue delivering outstanding palliative care and bereavement support to 6,000 patients and family members in Norfolk and North Cambridgeshire. Events like Walk With Us offers the local community the chance to connect with one another, make and remember fond memories and help raise funds for a fantastic cause.
